Before your children send my husband (Mister Santa Claus!) their very special letters, here’s one from me to you.
The most wonderful season of the year is upon us. And Santa Claus will be excited to park his sleigh at Makan Place. I arrived earlier to help Chef Theo prepare the festive celebrations for you and your family. While our home up in the North Pole is extremely cold, Bali’s cool breezy air and beaches, as well as the cuisine at Makan Place, will make sweet memories you will cherish forever.
On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, Makan Place Restaurant is offering a special festive menu dinner, prepared by Chef Theo, which is perfect for two. Select a main course, such as Barbequed Pork Ribs, Pork Schnitzel, Beef Tenderloin, Beef Rib Eye, or Crackling Pork Knuckle, and complete it with a salad and dessert, topped off with a glass of wine each.
For Christmas Brunch and New Year’s Day Brunch, the young man and I worked together to create a masterpiece, the “Chef Theo and Mrs. Claus Platter” for two diners, consisting of Gammon Ham, Spring Chicken, Snapper Fillet Champignon, Baby Potatoes, and Chocolate Panacotta for dessert. And a bottle of beer each that you’ll love.
And Ho! Ho! Ho! your children will receive some good tidings from Santa Claus on Christmas Day, but only if they’ve behaved well this past year!
Santa and I have to fly back home after the most wonderful time of the season ends, but if you are in Bali, celebrate it well with your family, surrounded by the island’s nature, beauty, and of course the tasty cuisine of Makan Place.
